Dresden – what else?

Odol, Karl May, Grünes Gewölbe, Semperoper, Elbsandsteingebirge, VW Phaeton are only a small vanety in an impressive numeration of different places which you can find in and around Dresden and which are known throughout Germany.

Like every pearl, Dresden too, has a setting- Pirna and Meissen, the Elbsandsteingebirge and the Osterzgebirge.

Why not enjoy the “Sächsische Schweiz” with a glass of wine from Meissen? Or you may want a cup of coffee with a piece of Dresdner Eierschecke (special cake) on board of a ship that will take you to Meissen on the river Elbe, Weisse Flotte, where you will find the cradle of the european porcelaine and the most northern cultivation area for wine in Germany.

"When I was a little boy, Dresden was a wonderful city full of art and history... and I did not have to learn about beauty out of books, neither in school nor at university. I was able to breathe it in just as children of a forester breath in the air in woods...“

Erich Kästner, wellknown German author, born in Dresden 1899
